German Kriegsmarine battle flag, measuring 50 by 85 cm
The most desirable and hard-to-find size among collectors—commonly associated with U-boat and S-boot (fast attack craft) service. Flags of this size were typically used on smaller naval vessels and are among the rarest to appear on the market.The flag remains in very good used condition, with strong color retention and clear markings. It is maker-marked and features the “Kr.Fl. 50×85” designation. The original hoisting rope is knotted on both the top and the bottom, adding to its authenticity and display value. It is maker marked, but (for me) impossible to read.
Due to its size, condition, and original features, this piece is ideal for serious collectors of WWII naval militaria or those building a detailed Kriegsmarine display.
